How the Betting Rounds Work
Understanding when to bet and when to fold is the core skill in Teen Patti.
Blind vs Seen
- Blind player: You have not looked at your cards. Your minimum bet is half of what a Seen player must bet. Playing blind increases pressure on opponents.
- Seen player: You have looked at your cards. You must bet at least double the current stake.
Chaal (Call or Raise)
- On your turn, you can match the current stake (Chaal) or fold.
- Raising is done by betting more than the minimum — this increases the pot for everyone.
- Play continues clockwise until only two players remain or someone calls for a show.
Show
- When only two players are left, either can request a Show — both reveal their cards.
- The stronger hand wins the pot. If hands are equal, the player who did not request the Show wins.
- A Blind player can request a Show for half the current stake.
